“I was forced to masturbate in front of teammates” – David Beckham

Retired footballer David Beckham recently revealed that he was forced to masturbate in front of his teammates as part of his initiation into Manchester United’s youth team in 1991.

Beckham, who opened up about the incident in a documentary titled The Class of ’92, said the incident happened when he was just 16 years old. He said he was forced to stare at a calendar photo of eighties Reds soccer player Clayton Blackmore (pictured right) and pleasure himself, while his teammate watched, as part of an embarrassing hazing ritual.
“Everyone had an initiation that you had to go through on the youth team, that was one of the most uncomfortable ones. The fact that I had to look at Clayton Blackmore’s calendar and do certain things. I was embarrassed when I was saying it on camera let alone talking about it more. But it’s something that we all had to go through. It was definitely something I wouldn’t like to go through again!’ Beckham said
The Class of ’92, is a documentary about the generation of Manchester United stars who came of age two decades ago.

Kanye West says Kim K is the ‘most beautiful woman of all time’

Kanye West is a man truly and crazily in love. In a radio interview with Angie Martinez yesterday, Kanye said he isn’t worried about how his relationship with Kim K is affecting his career, saying she’s so beautiful it doesn’t matter if she is uncool.

‘I don’t give a f*** what type of jacket she got on. Ladies and gentlemen y’all acting like this ain’t the most beautiful woman of all time! Arguably of human existence. The top ten of human existence.’
Kanye also said dating Kim has taught him that life was about more than ‘whats cool or not cool’.

‘I felt like our love story is a love story for the ages. I felt like when we first got together it’s a Romeo And Juliet kind of thing. Like she’s a reality star and I’m a rapper and people talking about how our brands connect and it doesn’t fit. And I’m just so tired of brands… It’s not about branding at a certain point. I loved her from the first day I saw her which I said on Bound.’

He then admitted he allowed the Keeping Up With Kardashian cameras to capture his elaborate marriage proposal to Kim last month.

‘When we got engaged I made sure the show was there because I felt like that would make her happy. Regardless of how it was shot I felt like this was a moment she would want to have.’

ASUU STRIKE UPDATE: ASUU Set To Call Off Strike As They Get A Better Deal of N1.1trillion

Details of the Monday/Tuesday marathon meeting between President Goodluck Jonathan and the leadership of the Academic Staff Union of Universities have begun to emerge.

“The meeting should be the longest that we have ever had on this crisis but I can tell you that both parties were frank all through the discussions. “The parties also showed commitment towards ending the crisis. The President in particular showed that he was serious about ending the strike and that was why he offered to release over N1tn to the universities in the next five years.”

Punch gathered on Tuesday evening that a key component of the agreement reached by the parties was that the Federal Government would inject N1.1tn into public universities in the next five years.A reliable source, who made this known, also hinted that the strike would be called off anytime next week.

He said the government team which was led by President Goodluck Jonathan would release N220bn yearly into the sector beginning from 2014.The source added, “The money will be released on a yearly basis at N220bn per annum beginning from 2014. For the outgoing year, the government will only release N100bn and this has been processed.”

He said that the government, in order to show its commitment to a fresh pact, accepted that “the fund (N1.1tn) should domiciled at the Central Bank of Nigeria”“The money will be released on a quarterly basis to the universities. So, there won’t be any problem about funding the deal,” the source said.

The National Universities Commission and the Trade Union Congress, according to him, are  joint guarantors of the agreement while the Minister of Education will be the implementation officer. The source said that the government agreed among other things, to revamp the public universities by ensuring that all those issues that always led to strike were dealt with once and for all.It was learnt that the negotiating team of ASUU led by Dr. Nassir Faggae met on Tuesday to further deliberate on the deal.

We gathered  the ASUU team have reached an agreement to take the deal offered by Jonathan and that they will meet the larger ASUU caucus by weekend to agree and end the strike.

Karen had breasts implants because of lumps found in her breasts’ her PR claims

Karen Igho’s PR team released a press statement today claiming that the BBA winner got breasts implants many years ago because of lumps found in her breasts – this is in reaction to a tweet from Ghanaian actress Yvonne Nelson’s twitter handle during the twitter hacking brouhaha that occurred yesterday. (Read it HERE). See their press release below
Sometime yesterday whilst preparing for her promo photo shoot, Karen and the World PR Media camp got wind of a tweet that was sent to our client, Karen Igho.
Yvonne Nelson quoted as follows “fake boobs, no wonder you don’t have a bf”. When Karen got the alert, she made several personal gestures to clarify the position of the tweet and the tweetee, but none of the enquiries was answered and a claim of ‘handle hacking’ was implied by the Nelson camp.
Just to update the Nelson team since we can’t reach you, Karen’s resort to breast implants were as a result of lumps found and removed in her breasts. And can you also be a good role model to your own younger fans by resisting online bullying or any other type of bullying for that matter.

Missing episodes of Doctor Who from 1960s found gathering dust in a cupboard in Nigeria

Aba boys in action? Lol. Nine long-lost episodes of Doctor Who, which have not been seen since the 1960s, have been recovered after they were tracked down gathering dust in a store room in Nigeria, Daily Mail UK reports:
The discovery of the episodes in Nigeria will cause much excitement for devotees of the long-running series, for which there are dozens of missing episodes dating back to its early years. The previously lost nine shows were among 11 traced to a television relay station and the find brings back to life an entire six-episode story, while another is almost complete.
Phillip Morris, the director of Television International Enterprises Archive, unearthed the programmes by looking up the records of overseas shipments of tapes made by the BBC

The stories, The Enemy Of The World (1967) and The Web Of Fear (1968) and both starring Patrick Troughton as the second Doctor, have now been remastered by BBC Worldwide, the corporation’s commercial arm.

Mr Morris said: ‘I remember wiping the dust off the masking tape on the canisters and my heart missed a beat as I saw the words Doctor Who. When I read the story code, I realised I’d found something pretty special.’

Only one episode of The Enemy Of The World – which featured Deborah Watling as companion Victoria, and Frazer Hines, later to find fame in Emmerdale as Jamie – had remained in the archives, so the addition of programmes one, two, four, five and six have completed the story.

Fiona Eastwood, director of consumer products, BBC Worldwide, said: ‘We are thrilled with the recent discovery of The Web Of Fear and The Enemy Of The World and we’re very happy to be launching re-mastered versions of these treasured episodes to fans as we celebrate the 50th year of Doctor Who.’

The BBC still had the first edition in the Web Of Fear story, and the new finds mean only number three is missing. The tale introduced Nicholas Courtney as Lethbridge-Stewart, who began with the rank of Colonel but later became Brigadier.
The missing episode has been recreated using 37 still images which were available and the original audio which survived.

Many programmes from the era, along with many classic shows, disappeared as a result of efforts to save space. There are still 27 Doctor Who stories which have not been recovered or for which episodes are missing.
In total, 97 episodes are still unaccounted for.
One episode from both The Enemy of the World and The Web of Fear were shown at a special BBC event in London yesterday.
Episode one of The Enemy of the World is said to be akin to an early James Bond film, with armed villains, a foreign villain and a scene featuring an exploding helicopter.

The Web of fear meanwhile sees the Doctor locked in battle with the Great Intelligence in the tunnels of the London Underground.
The BBC was even accused of secretly filming at an Underground station at the time as its sets were deemed so realistic.
